Week of December 16th
2024-2025
Tidbits:
Christmas Around the World:
On Monday December 16th, your kiddos will be traveling around the world-visiting many different countries to learn about the countries' different Christmas traditions and customs. They will have a suitcase(decorated paper bag, a passport(made of paper),and need to pass through security before entering to embark to their destinations! We will need help! We will be sending out a sign up genius to ask for help cutting, organizing and donating time and goods to make this trip be a fun one!
Christmas Pageant : Thursday December 19th @7:00PM. Please bring your kiddos by 6:40. The doors open at 6:30 but the kids are NOT to come to their homeroom until 6:40.
Attire: Speakers should wear black pants and white tops. The students with non-speaking parts should wear Christmas Colors or their Sunday best. Please remember-it gets WARM up on stage when picking out their outfits.
We are in full gear for our Christmas Pageant! This year second grade will be performing "The First Christmas" a nativity musical! We will be giving some students parts to read during the pageant. Here are the songs that the kids will be singing at their performance. Please practice them!
