2nd Grade

Although we understand that some families may choose to become remote due to family situations over the holidays, if your child is a roomie - not a zoomie - and does not come to school they will be marked absent for the days they miss. They may not join the live stream lessons that zoomies access and attend unless given permission from administration. Those lessons are for families who are selected to be zoomies for this trimester. Your child may watch the recorded lessons at the end of the day as well as turn in completed work upon their return. This policy laid out by Ms. Baker in a newsletter back on December 1st, and also applies to students who are staying home due to sniffles, a drs. Appointment, or any other health/personal related scenario.

The policy is outlined in the handbook addendum, and it states that in person learners who are not physically in the building are considered absent. The only exception is for students who are out for a full COVID quarantine (10 days+) in which case administration can give the permission for a student to be temporarily enrolled in the remote program.
