  • **KNIGHT CHECK**

Knight Check General Overview:

Each morning before arriving at school, parents/guardians must complete a wellness survey for each student. No student will be allowed to exit the vehicle without proof that this has been completed via the Knight Check App and the student is cleared to enter the building. This app creates an “attendance” badge that can be displayed via smartphone for the school staff at morning drop-off like an e-pass. If the person driving does not have that capability, the school staff will be able to check the data and confirm if a survey was successfully completed. The app itself is web-based and can be completed on a phone or another device such as a computer or tablet.

Each school day, the wellness survey should be completed at home by the parent/guardian. If parents share morning drop-off days or students live in a split household, more than one parent can have an account attached to their children. Students or older siblings will not be given access to Knight Check.

For students arriving via an approved carpool, the driver will be able to show the attendance badge for their child(ren). The parent(s) of the other student riders should have completed the survey at home for their child(ren), and the staff will check the data for these students when they arrive. The driver can also show a screenshot of the student rider's arrival badge that has been completed by their parents at home.

For bus riders, parents should complete the Knight Check at home. Staff will certify if all students have successfully completed the survey when they arrive at school.
